Friday, June 22, 2012 from 6-8pm in Kennedy Union West Ballroom g. 

The evening begins at 6 PM with a social time, followed by dinner, where students and practicing engineers and scientists dine together at tables of 6 or 8.  Our hope is the students will get the chance to learn, first hand, what life’s like out there. You will be provided with a map, directions to campus, and a parking pass.

Wednesday, July 11, from 6-8 pm, at the John F. Kennedy Union Ballroom on the UD campus

Engineers are seated at tables with campers and enjoy dinner in a relaxed setting, providing encouragement and positive reinforcement about the field of engineering. Campers enjoy talking to female engineers to receive insight on college, the engineering field, and find out what a typical day on the job entails. Insight into balancing family and career are also common topics. There is no charge to attend the dinner.

The conference was a great success! We had over 240 participants and 20 employers attend. 

 

FY12 Region G conference was March 2nd -4th 2012 at the Cincinnati Marriott North.

We are working towards endowing this scholarship so Judy’s memory can be honored in perpetuity to do that we must raise $25,000.  The scholarship will be awarded to collegiates in our region and we are hoping to have the  first award go out in 2016. Currently we are around half our goal. Please consider donating today!
